    My Bader grinder is single phase 110 or 220VAC. The motor is DC, so the box converts the power to DC and provides the variable speed control. ernie

    5 min epoxy in hot weather does not give you much working time. I found I just could not mix completely and get the knife together before it cures too much. As an experiment I tried gorilla glue on a kitchen knife with buffalo horn. I drilled the full tang for pins but never installed them so...

    Power grinders are Ok .. but jigs are bad....that's funny. if you want real handmade you have to unplug all your power tools. As for me I'll use any tool that makes things easier.

    That is a punch press, you put dies in it to trim flashing off castings or blank out shapes from thin stock. That big old flywheel is spinning all the time. You trip the clutch and BANG it spins the crankshaft one time. there is no give like a power hammer, it is set up for a single distance...
