Looking good Murph. Wanted to talk with you at blade but every time I came by you guys were slammed.

I personally like Sambar stag and ivory. The right piece of stag can take a knife right over the top. Walrus ivory is my favorite of all. It screams class. Its kinda like a Black suit not fancy but always classy.

Guess I should have put a very slow work in progress. This is not a how to thread WIP just meant it wasn't finished.

Try a different belt. I have had belts that the seam was not flat this will cause a bounce. Also make sure the belt tension is right. If its too loose the belt will bunch up then pop threw causeing a bounce or hop.

I got mine hammered flat from 1" round bar. I don't have a power hammer so the hard parts over.
