I'm in the group with the 3m half face mask. It works well.

There are more then a few choices when it comes to respirators. We all know the health hazards in what we do. What do you feel safe using. Feel free to give a review on your mask.

I went back and looked at the replacement filters. Unless you can find one that is good for silica I'd pass on that one.

I just looked at them. I have never used one. I don't know??? There's not much for filters from what I see. If you are looking for a full face shield I'd do the good one. You dont want to be breathing in that stuff.

Thanks Ed and Gliden. I've got a little Northern Tool saw. I'll be looking for a 41.5" x .5 blade. I'll also be looking for more teeth then 14/18. I'll see what I can find.

Ed where do you get your saw blades. I did a search but did not find anything that listed cobalt. I found carbide. Not on my saw!! lol,,,

Cobalt drills for us is a good thing. It will be interesting to hear how the saw blades hold up for you. Let us know.
