    Recommended grinder for folders?

    I use a 12" wheel for my slipjoints and they turn out Ok I guess. Ive tried a 10" but It didnt look right to me.

    I've been using aluminum sheet to make mine out of If I really like them and want to use them alot I will make one out of D2 and harden it. That way I know for sure it is a good pattern and wont get messed up.

    I've seen this done by blacksmiths to temper buggy springs as well so I know for a fact that it will work.

    Oh another way to do it is with hot cooking oil, it will melt the epoxy and release it's hold on the knife. It will release quicker because of the heat transfer from the oil and wont ruin the temper either.
