    Well it is glass, tempered glass the stuff that Pyrex is made of. Check it out here Pre cut and good to go. But it is glass you cant hammer on it or be rough with it, just treat it like glass and your gonna do fine...

    I was just looking at a Bose design that has a lock back. A whittler in a somewhat seahorse configuration with a locking main blade. And I have to agree with Mr Caffrey on this when they fail they fail hard and quick. I wouldnt want to be held acountable for that.

    I like the pre heat to take out the stress before you go to the treating heat. I start mine at 1500* for 10 min though then to 1900* for 20 min for slipjoints is plenty.

    Should be somewhere around 58-60. All I know is that it's not that easy to sharpen but when it gets there it'll stay for a while. Got some new Bohler D2 a bit ago to try on some of these. Gonna see how it stacks up agianst CPM D2 What did you do with that blade you got at the hammer in Johnny...

    The hosting site may have put it on another server I dont know this for fact but sometimes when they upgrade the software they will load it on a new server. Hosting sites often dont upgrade servers when you upgrade to new software. With some software that requires a bigger server and a smaller...
