    I'd probably go with 12V just be careful.

    Start with the DC side and do it several times but dont let it get too hot. The AC side will darken the etched part, but it gets a lot hotter so be careful and take your time.

    Alrighty then! I got the steel cut in to like sizes today and am drilling holes in them to put a piece of wire trough to use to hold them in the quench.     Im still learnin but I think a about got this stuff down. Bronze Intrugral liners mill relieved Bronze pins and guard. Damascus blade and spring, Preban Elephant Ivory scales.

    This one was an adventure in it's self. Damascus, preban elephant Ivory, and Bronze everything else. Haven't decided if I should polish up the bronze or leave it with that brushed look.
