    First Double Edged Blade.

    This is my first try at a double edged blade. O1 tool steel, 3/16", 7 7/8" long, and 1 5/8" tall. Flat grinds with a slight distall taper. I did get some ideas from John Barker. Great knives you have! Some help from a local maker on the handle shape. I have not desided on the handle type...

    I like the clip point. I would like to see more pics of the warnny. For a more comfortable grip, round or soften the fronts of the wod scales. It takes a few to get the feel for doing it, but it is worth it.

    Why can't I drill a 1/4" hole?

    Planer

    A planer will not take that short of stuff. A jointer might be better. It will take a skilled hand to be safe. A planer will turn them sideways and spit them back at you. Not fun.

    Well, here goes the pic thing again. GOT IT!! Thanks. 5160 Steel, 3/16" thick, tapered to 3/32" on tang, 6 1/2" long, 2 3/4" blade, Black Walnut handle with copper wire pin and copper tube. Heat treated by me. It will have a leather sheath, just not done yet. Will be ready to ship by Monday.
