Thanks Sean but I feel like I am cheating with the teak oil. Maybe its just me. I dunno..

Do you guys find it difficult to finish to a smooth flat finish? I have been at it for a few hours by hand. Here it is after an hour This is it after re-sanding, teak oil and buffing. :confused: Teak oil was the only way to get it like this. Any suggestions.

I am almost done with this one. Still need to sharpen up and Get rid of some yellow blotches on the micarta. I am not sure if it is the micarta or I burned it. I tried sanding with 120 grit and it is still there. Any ideas that could work?:o I also bought a scotchbrite belt and am trying to get...

I have been at this knifemaking deal for more than 1.5 yrs now and I still consider myself an extreme newbie. Lol. I am glad us new guys have a little place to share and learn from each other and the veterans as well.

I just finished this little guy today. I need to go and test it out on some limes and ice cold Corona.2thumbs It 5/32 ats34, and a little more tha 4.5" in length.

Hey Mike your not alone. After seeing Mike Snody make some I wanted to make some for my boys. Here it is after I cut out the shape. Still need alot of work though. Its no where as hard to make as that bow though.
