I made some several years ago. They were called a mystery braid. Found the link on the web. I made them in sets of three for vest extensions on our motorcycle vests, Takes a little time but not hard once you get the layout. Just practice.

Question for busted knuckles and Larry? in post number 47 busted knuckles you mentioned that you quenched 3 squares in the DT48 and 3 squares in the parks 50. But when Larry tested the squares he mentions 4 quenches in DT48 and only 2 in the parks! I am just wondering if one was marked...

check out zoeller forge I think your problem is the size of your pipe I'm using a zoeller side arm burner 3/4" pipe with a T 35 mig tip and I am able to run my large forge thru the entire PSI range 2-30 PSI with no problem I really like the side arm burner easy to make,Go to larry zoellers...

if small forge is all you need, look at a small brick forge. Sorry for such a short answer I'm getting ready for work.

I have always admired a nice hunting set with a skinning knife and a smaller caper built together in one sheath combination. 2 knives same handle material. This is just my thoughts.
