Back from the show - was my first visit to a knife show and quite an experience! My friend bought a Boker after looking around a bit. Production knives are fun, but I loved looking at the offerings from local knifemakers. Some hard using utility looking knives, others gorgeous display...

Looks like that is part number 118.176, diameter of burr is 0.50mm. I'm interested to see what other people use as well...

This year I want to 1) acquire a 2x72 grinder, 2) try out something with bolsters, and 3) develop a couple "model" blades and make durable patterns for them. So far have convinced the boss lady I need a good 2x72 and am trying to convince her I need an excellent one. Lol Am collecting feedback...

Finishing up a few for Christmas. Some of these pics are awful, grabbed them quick before my wife took them to work. First is a blade I started a while back and decided to finish. Has "plunge" lines filed to the stop of the spine. This is the last I used a chainsaw file on. Walnut handle...
