    Pricing

I'm stuck in this same rut, I'm a fairly new maker and haven't established that "confidence" in my stuff yet, and always second guess their worth. That, plus every person that I deal with wants a custom handmade knife for $50

    Blade Leather

I've only been making knives a short while compared to most, and I bought into the hype of hating the leather work. I was designing my own style sheath, hand stitching, etc. But one day I decided to make a holster and it all changed. Then I decided to make a belt, and it really changed. Now I...

    Blade Leather

I buy my leather from Tandy, but I have two within 45 minutes of me. I like to look at them, touch and feel them. I've never had any issues with their leather. You get what you pay for. I buy 7-8 oz and with a welt, it makes a pretty solid sheath, holster and belt.

    Forged in Fire Knife Dogs

That's a good idea, almost a profile of each contestant and why they were chosen. That way the focus is on the time challenge and not the outcome of the rough blades they are able to make in such shot notice.

    Forged in Fire Knife Dogs

I've seen at least one episode where they returned for "redemption", and one contestant stated that his business suffered greatly because of the show. The public only sees the rough blade you are able to make in 3 hours and thinks that sums up your talent. Then god forbid, your blade fails on...

    First knife Sale

I've been in kind of that same situation, and designed a knife for a friend or new customer. If I design a new knife specifically for them, I make sure its a useful design, and usually I name the design after them. That way, they got the first one, and their design is named after them. And It...

There are two local hardwood stores that stock some nice exotics. I save money by buying larger sticks. Especially now since I can stabilize at home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The center knife is a smaller version of the lacewood knife from above. I love Cedar, the marbling and colors. Tru-oil finish on this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This was my attempt at a skinner for a guy at work. I hate the design, but he seemed to love it. Simple Walnut handle, no liners. Kept it simple to be a user knife. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
