Looks great, I'm also intrigued by that design sheath. And since I'm a noob at it, I need the practice. How do you cut out the belt slots?

    Need help on a handle

I bought the Minwax Hardener and it doesn't do anything but darken the wood and put a very thin coating on it. I was going to try submerging the scales in it and see if it made a difference, but I have a full bottle of it that I don't use because it doesn't seem to do anything but coat it...

    Need help on a handle

Couldn't it be saved with several coats of Tru-Oil? It's a beautiful handle, and if all he's worried about is soft spots, wouldn't an outside sealer like Tru-Oil take care of that?

    My first knives

lol, that's only the 3rd sheath I've made! I wanted simple and clean, so I'm glad that's what comes across. I prefer simple, clean elegant styling. I don't think I will ever mirror polish a blade, etc. I prefer satin finishes, and simple leather. I just appreciate the form of the metal and...

    My first knives

I don't think so, I honestly just marked it out where my thumb would sit, and designed the handle shape around the blade pattern. The first notch just so happened to be inside the handle.

    His and hers hunting knives

exactly what I was thinking, but I didn't want to say anything negative. To sell a knife, it has to be damn near perfect. Beginner knives are kept for yourself, or given away as you perfect your craft. Now you are going to be known as the guy that cranks out quick, rough $50 knives. Now if...
