I could post the ruin that I made of my last knife attempt. Just the sight of that piece of 0-1 made me so angry that I wanted to put the steel in a box then toss the box into a river and hurl the river into the sun.

My father brought me this massive slab that is 4 in thick by 8 inches wide by 5 feet long. Its difficult for me to move alone and i have no idea what to do with this thing. As I understand it this used to be part of the 20 foot long beam that supported his work shed.

I was out of metal to work and bored so I turned my attentions to my chair :biggrin:. No decent furniture was damaged in the taking of those pictures though.

Winter seems intent to set in early this year so I guess I will be breaking out the kerosine heaters to keep ye ole shop warm.

That handlework is awesome and I love the blade shape.

I also use the sperian full face shield but be warned... the one I ordered from amazon came with this hazy blue plastic shield and not the clear that was shown in the pic. They do sell the clear though.
