    Wood stabilization question

Thanks guys! I'm going to send it all to K&G. The Imbuya has some nice figure and the Bubinga is the waterfall type and I'm looking forward to finishing out a knife or two in them!

    Wood stabilization question

I recently obtained some Cedar of Lebanon, Imbuya, and Bubinga boards. I wanted to see if it was advisable to stabilize them or are they good to go without? IIRC the Bubinga is OK but I'm not sure about the others. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Michigan hammer-ins?

Does anyone know of any hammer-ins in or around Michigan? What about good knife shows? I'm going to Blade in June but would love to look into more local happenings as well. Thanks!

Keeping white G10 from discoloring during handle shaping

Hi guys, How do you keep your white G10 liners from discoloring when you're shaping the handle? I've tried wet sanding and cleaning with Acetone and it doesn't seem to brighten to a clean white. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Stick tang shoulder/guard?

When I was looking for one a while back I didn't know about Mr Bump's file guide so I got mine from Riverside Machine (http://w.ivenue.com/riversidemachine/). It's carbide faced and seems to work well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    How do you grind?

The thing that has really helped me out is hand sanding. I know the thread is about grinding but what I've learned is that I don't have to worry about getting the grind lines absolutely perfect on the grinder because I can adjust things slightly when hand sanding.
