It wasn't really a big buy I got a very very good deal.

Got an awesome deal from GerryRandall it is a Fowler Hardness tester which appears to be built by AMES because it is identical very good quality and looks like I was doing pretty good job everything I tested was between 57-60 c scale but it is nice to know.

I was by yesterday got to meet a lot of people also bought too much ,

Yeah I can't wait for it to get here and give it a shot

I ordered the 12" from Rob at Beaumont metal works , I think the hollow on the bigger wheels look a little better probably a little stronger, I like most grinds, I do some flat, some convex doing a bowie that is convex right now , but for utility and small hunting knives I like hollow.

I allready have an 8" 6" 4" wheels , wanted a 10" for biiger blades decided on 12" bigger is allways better right, What do you guy's who have a 12" wheel think? Anthony

Man thats a lot of work, just built an 8"x3" work bench, and rearanging everything trying to get it mor useable and keep it cleaner. I'll take pics when finshed, I think I will have a get together with the local knifemakers when I get done. My back hurts I'm not as young as I used to be,
