Its not for me. Its for a friend who is 83 yrs old & is not really a custom maker but turns out 20 to30 "sportsman" quaiity knives at a time. All he does is HG & he's getting older & slower.

Now all you need is a skull (A pig or cow will do) to baptize it. Well all i can say is that now you need to go ahead & make the whole outfit, sword ,shield ,helm, daggers, (at least two) No viking worth his herring would be caught with just one dagger.

This is in the process of becoming my version of a camp knife. 1/4" ATS 34 blade 8 1/2 " long & just over 1 1/2" wide' I used 1/4" because I want the blade to have a little weight to it. Twist Damascus (by MS Tim Potier) guard & promel Stag handle

The blade points to the left. I will take some photos tommorrow in natural light at different angles & post the best photos. you can barely see the top half of the hole for the pin in the photo. It looks punched not drilled. The powder didn't look so good because of the roughness of the tang...
