Don't get overconfident with these replies. It will work if you go slow. If you hog it out that Sharpie will burn off quickly. Go fairly slow and keep the steel cool and you will be in good shape. Bob

You REALLY need to change something. I do all grinding standing up, not bent over. You don't need to look between the blade and belt, look at the sparks coming out below. Sounds like the fire ants we have here in Texas. They go nuts when you get in their territory. After 24 hours each bite turns into a little pimple. If you wash with Listerine, you can avoid the pimples. Funny story but probably not a funny experience until about a year from now.
