    Learning from each knife I make is what keeps me going and makes me try harder on the next one. Your knives are always very nice Mike and I'm sure this one will be as well. Keep pushing yourself to try new things, you will be glad you did in the long run. Cant wait to see some pictures of the knife.

    Or you can pick up a inexpensive spindle sander at home depo or lowes, they work really nice for the finger grooves and handle shaping.

    Nice looking grind Chris. I like that better then the scandi grinds. Just a comment, I would like the front finger groove to be more rounded to fit your finger better. But looks good so far

    Just wondering if anybody on here goes to the wolverine knife collectors show? Is it a good show for knife makers? or is it mostly production knifes. I was looking for information on the show and came across some pictures posted from a couple years ago and it looked like the place was empty...

    daggers!! what to be taken into account?

    When I grind a dagger I go VERY slow, I hold my grind short of the center and chace it up after heat treat. By grinding after heat treat you can go slower with the grind just because the steel is harder and doesn't grind off as fast, more control

    Just finished this one tonight, it is the last one for the Dover Ohio knife show April 6th and 7th overall length is 6-5/8 inches o-1 tool steel, polished finish Ivory micarta scales 416 stainless pinned on and dovetailed bolsters (I did a wip on the bolsters in my knifemakers forum)...
