I do have a question though. With that being a galvanized tub, are there any worries about the fumes? Or is it insulated well enough that the galvanizing never gets that hot?
I only wish my problem blades looked that good. That is a striking piece of damascus and a nice save. It would have been a shame to toss it in the "I messed up bin".
Very nice! I have been wanting to learn how to do that. How long would you say it takes to make a billet like that or similar in size? Obviously, you knowing what you are doing makes for a shorter time than it would be for say me, but I am curious.
Thank you, to both of you, for doing this WIP. I am a rookie at all of knife making and seeing how someone does this is simply fascinating. You guys make one heck of a team. I only wish you were closer so I could just sit and watch in person.
