    You large anvil and is the russion anvil that Habor Frieght was carrying. I have one where the harding hole in straight. My face of the anvil alittle soft but works. There is an artical on them over on anvil fire.

    Yea Doug I seen some one youtube , I done some w1 brine quanch and they made it out. I going to go with oil first.Thank you for the info.

    I have a spear point bowie forged out of some 1050, I would like to edge quanch it. Should I use warm brine or oil.How many times should I normalize the blade? Thank you.
