    Hey guys, where can I find plans, or do any of you guys have any experience doing this? I have searched and searched and it seems all the links are dead that had anything to do with this. I have a pretty old power supply that actually has the on/off switch on it and want to use it to make a...

    critique

    They look great, my only input would be the hole in the blade, not my thing but that doesnt make it wrong at all, if anything I would just enlarge it and bring it closer to the handle to serve a greater purpose as a finger hole... kinda looks out of place where it is at. Again, its just my...

    Is this the natural progression?

    I have sold upwards of $2k worth of stuff to get my shop to the point it is at now! It was worth every penny and I am just now starting to produce knives for sale. I have produced quite a few (about 20, some were junked) for family and friends to use and report back to me with their...

    New Grinder

    I cant give anything on the 2x42 as far as performance, but I did start out with a 4x36, it cost me about $100 on sale. I can say that anything is better than nothing, and even when you get your 2x72, the smaller machine will still see use, mine does even after I finished my NWG. I use mine...

    The wait begins....I ordered a KMG

    I will ...third? The blaze, I luckily ordered blaze belts in my heavy grits for my first batch (60 and 120) I do use the norax in 220 for pre and post HT cleanup... They dont last anywhere near as long but are a little bit more flexible. I personally cant use anything heavier than 60 grit...

    using gorilla glue

    I just started using gorilla super glue on smaller knives, how do you prevent the ooze from getting all over the tang, or do you just refinish this area afterwords? I hate the epoxy but use it anyway, I have a whole tube of gorilla glue in the shop, would love to use it.

    NWG Build

    This steel plate is just raw structural iron, it was cut from a masonry lintel that measured 6"x15'x3/8" thick, it also had nelson studs welded to it but I just cut those off with a grinder. We have a LOT of construction material laying around at the old mans farm, we were both superintendents...
