    Brandon Miller Knife Maker Extraordinaire!!!

Extraordinaire may be to strong of a word. How about "Brandon Miller, knife maker who sucks slightly less with each new blade"? I've only made a few now, 3 1/2 total, and am quite enjoying it. I am learning to free hand my flat grinds on a Craftsman 2x42 belt sander. That's challenging. I plan...

    First real knife.

Thanks Rob. I love a serrated edge for an Every day carry knife. I all to often need to saw on something. I also wanted to do my own scales just to say I made the whole thing myself. I will probably buy them from now on. Kydex I've been working with for a little bit now. I've made about 6 or so...

Here is the wonderful workstation it came from. and a few photos of the knife in process. It's okay if you're jealous of my grinding apparatus.

    First real knife.

I've made 3 knives total now. This is the least terrible one to date, and also the only one I ever really finished. It started out as a 2" X 3/16" strap of 1095 high carbon steel. and I spent about 10 or so hours turning it into this. Blade Length - 3.75" Overall length - 8.125" Stainless...

    Modern Savage

I like the look. Kinda brutish and unrefined, but in a good way.

    Wannamaker Arms Show

This is always a quality show for those who can make it. I don't go to many gun shows, but every couple of years I make it to Wannenmacher's. It's the only one I go to.

"My very first knife" - post up!

The last one you saw was made about 2 years ago. I haven't made one since. I will probably slightly modify the last one in style and use it for the next couple of knives I will make. I am getting some better tools so maybe I can make something worth owning.

"My very first knife" - post up!

My first knife was made in my spare time at work with an angle grinder, really crappy bench grinder, drill press, and some sand paper. Mild steel in a very rough and pitted condition. I knew nothing about what I was doing at the time. still don't really. The second knife I made...

    New guy from Oklahoma.

It seems like I heard about you guys maybe a year or two ago from either Bill Coye or Chris Martin on okshooters.com. I never put a lot of effort into knife making then, but am thinking of trying to make a few nice pieces for the Holiday's as gifts. I picked up a couple of pieces of 1095 high...
