template measures almost exactly 9 inches total length. I laid out my pins by measuring total distance from front and back pin, dividing by two and locating my middle pin. that's what Danbo tell me too Travis. Not too fond of using Ford, as it's too easily associated with Ford Motor Co. but i'm open to suggestions, but would like to keep the "Tree of Life" moniker if possible.

I'm playing around with what I want my makers mark to look like. I want something appealing to the eyes, but easy to identify. I'm open to all suggestions, etc. Regards, Christopher

forgot to mention that there won't be a guard or bolster, just green canvas slabs and black liners. i try to over complicate things usually thus why i think i'm having such a hard time here.
