My first stamping, I sure hope OWL is ok with me practicing on his stuff, lol. I did the border backwards.

Getting closer, trying satin on this one, first attempt at. Shaped the handle and need to hand sand to make it all shiny. Tonight will be leather sheath night, going to try stamping a basket weave first time, actually first time stamping.

Got it glued up, excited to work on my new hobby tomorrow, leather working. My gluing contraption is pretty unsightly, need to buy more clamps.

Got more done, roughed out scales and cut pins, hand sanded to 220, tomorrow should be glue day, hopefully. Couple mistakes so blade is just over 3.5 inches now, sorry OWL. Placed my Benchmade Bugout next for size comparison, Bugout is regular size, not mini.

Tempered, slight bend not noticeable with eye but on granite slab. Back in oven for one more temper to straighten out with clamps, I am anal retentive.

Garage is still hot to work in but did do a little, put a swedge on spine, cleaned up the jimping and picked out the scales. Just about ready for heat treat and tempering, maybe tonight when it gets to 90 degrees.

San Bernardino, tomorrow it will be in 90's so will continue my KITH.

Will be at least 4 days before I update, my shop doesn't have AC and today was 117, next few days staying hot.

Fairly new at making knives, about 14 in but will post as I complete this KITH. I am self taught via internet research so bare with me, due to COVID shutting everything down.

I didn't take it that way, here to learn. Right when I got into the hobby COVID struck, so have not had any hands on training, strictly youtube and knife forums.

I should have gone with the .126, by the time all my rookie mistakes are grinded away it will be much smaller.

I will change my ways with the flip flops, I am usually a good steward with safety.

My beginning...handle 4.8 inches, blade 4 inches, "3" 1/4 inch pins, one being a lanyard hole.
