    A skinner for a friend

Here is a skinner I made for a friend of mine to give to his brother for his birthday. The knife is made from D2 steel (my favorite) and its heat and cryo treated to 60 rc. The blade is 4" and the OAL is 8 7/8". The handle is stabilized mesquite burl. The blade is almost full hollow ground which...

    knife to be auctioned off

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am fixing to start a new one using Damascus. It will be my first time working with it so it could turn out to be a very expensive learning experience.

a knife for a friend's father in law

Me too been trying to quit but it gets hard at times plus it calms me down when I work on knives and keeps me from getting ahead of myself which tends to happen from time to time.

a knife for a friend's father in law

Was asked to make a knife for a friend of mine to give to his father in law. Didn't come out quite like I had pictured but still is a good looking knife I think. Let me know what you guys think. I know I placed my logo too far back on the blade but thats because i left a bit of a long curve on...

    Help re contact wheel

I would have to agree with Rudy. It's not worth your safety to glue it back with any kind of epoxy. Epoxy will come loose when heated up so I really wouldn't put to much faith in it when it comes to that and I'm pretty sure most others will too.

    suggestions on a respirator.

Just about any particulate filter respitator will do. Don't get me wrong and buy the cheap masks but the respirators. You should be able to find them at any hardware or home improvement store. You can also look online. Grizzly.com sells pretty good ones but they may cost a bit more but well...

    Knife made for my wife

Thanks Keith. I am currently working on a similar knife to donate to an auction that will benefit a childrens ward at a local hospital. What I have in my head is a knife similar to the one pictured above with damascus bolsters front and back and mammoth tooth scales. The sheath I haven't decided...
