    Knife made for my wife

Randy, It was actually very easy to work with. It is however very brittle but drills and sands very easy. The pores do present a problem if you desire a glass finish but I opted to leave them they way they are to give it somehwhat of a contrast and my wife loved it. Rob

    Knife made for my wife

Thanks for the compliment and to answer your question well D2 is much harder than O-1 due to its higher alloy content which also makes it harder to bring an edge once lost but it also holds one longer than O-1. There are pros and cons to using either steels but it just depends on what the knife...

    Completed another one

The knife wasn't intended to look like a folder but ended up that way after grinding a little too much during the profile phase but looked to good to just stop there and scratch the blade. The knife was sold for $200 just today but did not get a chance to get pics of the sheath before leaving...

I got this this morning. What do you think?

I made one out of square tubing for my milwaukee band saw. I will post pics of it later if you would like to see it. From what I see you can remove the handle and use the two screws as your support braket for the saw and just make the stand for that. Hope that points you in the right direction...
