Thanks guys for the kind words. Randy, not sure if this is right but I soaked the leather and curved the back with the blade. Then I cut the stitching seam straighter. When I rotated the leather to meet the middle of the blade it ended up fairly straight. Here's a tutorial I found...
These where from a old file. My first center seam, hardened the leather with microwave and hair dryer. Have to put that back up before the wife sees it in the shop. Hope you all like.
