Here's the latest trapper to come off the bench. It's the fourth of this pattern that I've squeezed out of the chute. Blade and backsprings are CPM-154, bolsters and liners are 410 stainless, and the covers are Desert Ironwood Burl. I know screw together construction is taboo in some circles...

Beautiful...love those grinds!

I have never been able to get the detent right by trying to measure and drill an offset hole. I have been successful by drilling thru the lock bar and into the blade while applying pressure with the blade against the stop pin while drilling the hole. Hope this makes sense and helps.
