This coloration is how it came out of the foil pouch after heat treat and I thought it looked pretty cool so I left it that way.The other 2 looked that way also but were orders so I cleaned them up.THANKS

The knife is 5 1/2 oal, blade is 2 1/8 L x 1 1/8 W Blade spine to bottom of finger guard is 1 1/2W, and 9/16 thick in handle.Thanks for the comments and i will be building a small batch of these if anyone is interested.

I recently finished these 3 little bad boys which are a beefed up version of the previous stubby. these are all framelocks with 5/32 ats 34 blades.2 have g10 scales with glow dots and the other is walrus ivory.These are not flippers but all have internal stop pins.What ya'll think of these???

Hello Frank, the blade is .100 thick and the bearings are 1/16 so I pressed 4 in on each side. A first but not the last for me.

Hello all,sorry I have been so slow getting back in the shop since my mom's death.I lost my drive for awhile to build.Anyway I'm back in the saddle now and just finished a gent's folder.It has Chad Nichols damascus blade with Alabama damascus bolsters and white mop scales and purple anodized...

Just a little idea. These knives were not built over a weekend so the voting should have lasted longer than a week.I just now found the polling thread for the knives.This probably should have been a sticky.:D and mentioned in the raffle area also.:bud:

I thought I would share this with you guys.This knife has Chad Nichols damascus blade and bolsters,gold anodized ti liners with filework and blue mammoth ivory scales.I got a very nice surprise at the banquet on sat night when the knife won best custom folder.What ya'll think of it?

I have used sealed bearings in some of my flippers and found they work VERY well. The ones I use have a .156 wide center and work well in that blade thickness but the only source I have found that makes them are very expensive.
