    Just finished the last two knives for the Blade. This Bowie is forged 5160 with desert Acacia handle and blued S guard and ferrule. The hunter is forged 1084 NS bolsters and pins with redwood burl handle.YIKES 9days to go. Thanks Steve

    Thanks. the decision is gonna probably be made at the last minute- today I can't decide. I have shown them to some knifemakers/MS/JS guys and I've made some minor changes from their suggestions. I've gotten very nice responses from everyone. Thanks!

    Thanks. yes I do wet mold the sheath, also make a small riser in the welt to catch/ secure the blade. When they leave my shop they are tight . I had one come back after some time and hard use that was loose,in fact it was nice and soft supple leather. I did wet mold it again and it stiffened up...

    I have a KMG with one of Wayne Coe's 1.5 and VFD works great . I only have 110v so I was limited on size. The belt will slip long before the motor bogs down. Steve
