    Plate quenching

Tracy, do you think the slightly anged jaws will effect the plated meeting evenly?? i think it would be ideal to cut one of my plates in half for this set up.

Balisong Kit Input Needed -- Give us your thoughts

Hey, what a cool idea!! great suggestions from everyone so far. I would agree about trying to keep cost down. what will set this apart from other kits out there is if you upgrade the pivots to use either bushings or bearings. I would also go with a cheaper blade steel and mybe stainless...

    Cork belts

You want to press a scrap piece of steel into those belts for roughly ten minutes straight. knock all those pointy teeth off of the belt so its good and worn. then lean into it with green rouge. it'll polish beautifully and not remove steel. much better then a buffer imo. lets you keep that...

    Square a drill press

To shim your table front to back, just use pieces of tin foil. where you tighten/loosen table to adjust height you can slide shims in there at top or bottum to square table up whichever way it needs it. i use to do this on my drillpresses until i baught a mill.

    Band Saw Blades??

The above TPI are goood. i use lennox diemaster 2 blades! they're the best i have found. i've cut literally 9 square feet of 3/16" TI with the same blade and it still chews through it! For TI that thin i would go with atleast 18-24 tpi.
