CPM S90V steel with amber stag & desert ironwood spacers, 5" blade with an overall length of 9 3/4". I was reminded why I don't work with this steel to often .....S90V is one tough steel, 2.30% carbon, 9.00% vanadium, very wear resistant.

Thank you Frank, when you ship international they give you a time frame but you cant control how long it takes to clear customs, I could of used Fed Ex and they would of walked through customs but the cost would of been $145.....was not an option for my customer cant blame him.

Got these done for a customer in China , all 3 are CPM D2 with bocote handles....I was surprised on how fast and how little the shipping was $75 for Xpresspost International and he received it in 7 days....must of zoomed right by customs. Cheers,

A few for our CKG show next month, The first one on the left is damasteel with crown stag & desert ironwood, center is CPM-D2 with a nice weathered Elk handle ....on the far right is another stacked handle with crown stag,desert ironwood,orange & black G-10 spacers. All very close in...

I haven't posted much lately, my Daughter because of medical problems had to move back in with us along with our 2 grand daughters and 2 dogs ....she's stable and doing well ... it just took time to rearrange the house to accommodate the larger family now it's back to normal doing what I love...

My latest knife, Camp Knife with Mike Norris ladder pattern stainless damascus, blade is just under 6" with an overall length of 10 1/2", the fitting are wrought iron and the handle is "WSSI" Stabilized Buckeye Burl .....the only thing I have left to do is to give an edge after the sheath is...

Thank you both for your interesting comments. Wade so far I've used the orange G-10 spacers in combo with stag on 3 knives & like you at first I was on the fence on it .....like the lottery you have so many choices with few winners, I tried what felt like a million combonations before commiting...

I like the way this one turned out, CPM D2 steel with a nice crown stag dressed up with some orange G-10 and black buffalo horn, the blade length is just a little over 5" with an OAL of 10 1/2". your comments are always welcome

Just finished this one today, Buffalo Skinner with Bog Oak that's been carbon dated to 5400 years old, spacers are Mammoth Ivory with black G-10 & Nickel/Silver, blade length from tip to front of guard is 4 3/4" with an overall length of 9 3/4".

As always nice clean work....well done.
