    CPM S30V is nothing new any good knife supply will have it...been around for some time.... if you plan on using it be prepared to put alot of elbow grease into it, it's much harder to work then your 154CM.

    Thank's Greg, my customer purchased this one for a local trapper, I dont know if this handle is his cup of tea.....knowing trappers they always order with wood handles.........I know he will like the CPM D2 steel. Gill

    I made this fillet knife with cactus scales and a customer ordered this skinner with the same scales, he supplied me with a picture of what he wanted.....this is it, hope he likes it. 3/32" CPM D2 with magma red cactus scales from TurnTex Woodworks. Thanks for looking.

    Very nice work, just the right amount of texture to highlight the knife.....Love everything about it. Can you tell me what you use to do the texturing? Did you do it by hand or with the use of a dremel...if so what kind of bit did you use? Again great looking knife.
