Ways to get a good sharp edge

Versatile, fool proof, surprisingly user-friendly, and extremely good at sharpening and honing any blade out there. I've had one for a couple of years and just love it. Ohh, its also expensive as all get out.

    need help stocking the shop

Smoke - I have quite a supply of domestic and exotic woods now, after several years of doing this knife making thing. However, when I first started, I routinely pillaged the firewood pile for those nice pieces of curly or crotch wood. Yellow Birch, the Maples, Cherry, Walnut, Yew, are all...

    Lightest/Whitest Burl?

Here's a light colored burl. This comes from a basketball-size growth off an large, old Red Maple. The two pieces adjacent to the stacked birch bark on the knife, and the sheath slabs are all the same wood with only a buffed tung/carnuaba wax finish

    Scabbard for the "WMD"

WOW! Now, that is just over the top! You didn't show any close ups of that insane sword/scythe/cranium lopper, but it looks very well built. And, that scabbard is quite nicely done. Very unique design and well executed, great materials and it looks bomb proof. WOW, what a package. WOW!

Most used item used in your shop

Well, other than the previously posted band aids, my most used item in the shop is likely a small block of leather-covered wood I use for hand rubbed blade finishing. A close second might be the variety of small files used on both blade and handle.

    How is this done?

Many, many, many years ago, while in the USMC(yes I was actually a U.S. Marine!) stationed in Hawaii, I went to a party in a Honolulu high rise. While there, this guy picked up a walking cane and proceeded to levitate it. now that I've lost half of you.... This display continued with the...
