    Blade Show knives

I figured I'd post up a little peek at what I am taking to Blade this year. In no particular order. Come see me at Table # 5DD There's a whole bunch of new stuff this year, as a matter of fact, the bulk of my pieces are either new models, or not before seen versions of previous models...

    Attachment Mod for KMG....

Slick attachment idea there Josh. To clarify a couple of the questions I've seen. I use Hermes RB406 belts from TruGrit. Sub $3 each, and they are great belts. They have a different splice than the ones from Pops, the splice is a wavy splice instead of just a bias cut splice. Runs smoother...

    Help needed

He wasn't looking for reamers Frank, but counterbores. He wants to set the heads below the surface of the material... What do you do, if not counterbore or countersink? I know some guys just use a drill of the same diameter as the head.... I never liked that method, but it works in a pinch.

    Magnetic Chuck

And that is one of the reasons why I say the surface grinder is the most dangerous tool in the shop. Fine pole, without a doubt, and electromagnetic if you can swing it.

    Questions about waterjet cutting

I would question letting someone else convert the drawing. They may make compromises you would not. Look for some free CAD software, and draw it up ! The edges will taper, though how much depends on the cut quality setting at the machine. Pay more $$$ and get a better cut. Davis Curtiss is...
