    English Walnut Bowie

I think that the hardest part of posting a new thread is to come up with a good title. Anyway, I finished this Bowie this week. The blade is Damascus with a slanted ladder pattern of 1080, O-1 & 15n20 steels, is 8 3/4" long and the overall length is 13 3/4". The width is 1 1/2". The guard...

    Feather and Mammoth Liner Lock

I just completed this folder and will have it with me this weekend at the Ohio Classic Knife Show in Cambridge Ohio. The blade has 5 different steels, W2, 1084, L6, 15n20 and 1095. I used the L6 because it was 5/8" thick and I thought that it would add to the contrast of the pattern. The...

    Two New Liner Locks

I just wanted share these two folders that I just finished today. They are basically identical except for a few minor things like the scales on one are rounded while the other is not and the grind on the swages vary slightly. The Damascus is my own being 1084, 1065 and 15n20 and of a stretched...

One More for the AG Russell Knife Event

This is the last one that I can make before the AG Russell Knife Event this weekend. It's just a little larger than a normal bird and trout but I guess that it could be called a "goose and salmon" knife but somehow I'd go with the B & T. The blade is a ladder pattern that came out of a basket...

    Another Bird & Trout

Here's another B & T that I completed yesterday. The Damascus pattern is more coarse than I usually do but is still attractive (I think). It is 1084 and 15n20. The guard is 416 SST, spacer is M3 (Red Bronze) and the handle is canvas Micarta. Thanks for looking. Bill

    Fossil Walrus Feather Hunter

Laurence, I shipped the Walrus knife on Monday and thinking about it now I should have taken a picture of them both. The blades came from the same billet but the B&T was drawn out a little more being a full tang knife. Thanks for the compliment. Bill

    Fossil Walrus Feather Hunter

This was finished last week as well as the B & T that I recently posted. The Damascus on both the guard and blade is 1095 and 15n20. The spacers are African Blackwood and stainless steel. The handle as mentioned is Fossil Walrus. Thanks for looking. Bill

    Feather Bird & Trout

Thanks to all for the compliments and well wishes. I'm taking care of the hand and not rushing anything. Will probably start forging again in a month or so and have some stock on hand to finish. Bil

    Feather Bird & Trout

Just wanted to post a B & T in feather Damascus that I just completed. The steels are 1095and 15n20. Scales are stabilized Maple burl, end grain. Pins are mosaic. This is the first knife that I completed since April 2nd from having surgery on my left hand. I just about went nuts being out...
