    Split 4" belt into 2x2"

Had anyone ever split a 4x72" belt into (2) 2x72" belt? Trugrit sells a 4x72" Norton 36y belt that would save me a bunch of money on my initial grind belts, anybody done something like this with any success? Sent from my RM-878_nam_usa_100 using Tapatalk

Brandon's Fantastical Journey to becoming a knife maker...

Sunday update #2 for 10/13/2013 Did 2 more grinds today. I think I'm getting better with each one, the one glaring issue with each is the plunge line, but there's plenty of time to work that out. Maybe in the future i'll invest in a guide to help train my muscles on what it feels like to grind...

    Good "practice" Steel

VaughnT, Thanks for chiming in, Very sound advice, after having thought about what I wanted to do for my first knife your suggestion of making many of the same design has significant appeal. AT this point I will just draw out something that is not too complicated and try to keep my first...

Hello from the PNW (Pacific Northwest)

I have always had an interest in knives. Graduated HS in '03 and have carried a blade every day since. I don't have a huge collection and didn't really care to have more than a functional collection. I got the itch to get another edc about 4 months ago and that started me on the path to...
