    Now what do I do?

Have you thought about embellishing the handle. I think scrimshaw could make a big difference on that knife. I don't think it looks bad to start with, and a little extra detail on the handle could be all that is needed.

    Decisions, decisions, decisions

I've been planning on my next batch of knives, drawing templates and trying to figure out which handle materials to use. If only all of life's tough decisions were this much fun .

    Too Thin?

I don't think it's too thin, but it doesn't hurt to contact the company that will be doing the HT. You might want to give Brad a call at Peter's heat treat.

    Thuya Hunter

Just finished this one. This was my first time working with thuya. It's different than any of the other woods I've worked with - likes to clog up sand paper. OAL: 8" Blade: 3″ cutting edge, 5/32″ CPM154, Heat treated to 61-62 HRC with cryo treatment, Hand finished to 600 grit Handle...

    Who Does Web Sites??

Mike, I got the courage to build a website using Godaddyafter viewing the thread at http://knifedogs.com/showthread.php?2579-How-To-Set-Up-Your-Own-Website. It might help you out as well. The only thing I would add is this - at some point during the purchase process, you will have the option...

    Some WIP Pics

Frank, I appreciate your input, and I'm happy to get all feedback . Yes, the blades do get over 1" wide, the widest being 1 1/4". I like the look and feel of a knife with a wider blade, and it's typical of some of my favorite knife makers. I hadn't considered it getting in the way while...
