    I reckon it looks pretty good. Nice handle shape and finish and blade design. Its hard to see the finish on the blade from the photo, but it looks like it would have improved with a handrubbed finish or further grinding. I'm being picky here though:) I bet your next one will look even better.:D

    Hi Ernie, I dye my sheaths when they are complete. I fiirst rub with isopropynol alcohol to deglaze the leather and then lightly dampen the leather with water before applying the dye. I seem to get the most even finish by dipping the sheath into a container of dye rather than applying dye...

    Good looking knife and sheath. You have a created a good 'well worn' effect with your edge treatment. I like the pattern you have in the leather on the front of the sheath and have not seen that before. Do you do that by stamping/tooling?
