This is coming along nicely. Wasn't sure how I was gonna integrate the handle and fingerhole but I like the way it looks. Some more finish sanding, topcoat on the Maple, sharpen it and a sheath. It's sold for Christmas gift.

Here's one im working on similer to my last one with the finger hole. Different handle and larger than last one. 01 tool steel, SS pins and maple. These are a PITA to make but I really like how it's been going so far. Still more to do as always! LOL!!

There semi finished blanks, not heat treated. The blanks were only $2.99 each! Couldn't buy the steel to make them for that! They actually look pretty good. I plan on grinding the handles differently to make them my own. Need to get heat treat though

I bought some 7CR17mov SS blanks that are close to finish ground. Does anyone have a recipe to harden this stuff? So far online they compare it a lot to 440A.But the internet being the internet there are some other opinions. I trust you guys way more. So if you know please let me know. THANKS!!
