    I just picked up some 3V based mainly on posts I've seen about it from you and Jerry. I prefer carbon steels so corrosion resistance is not a big deal. I'm looking forward to making some knives out of it.

    I had heard post HT it was a bear to work. Wear resistance is insane. Has to be hard to resharpen.

    FOS Bali....you are on the list :unsure: :confused: :D Not real big. About 2X11 and .225 thick. J.Rosa, so if left in the low 60's with a normal edge thickness would it be much tougher D2 or A2?

    A few pics of some stuff I just finished.... "S2" Black G10 with OD G10 liner, 4" blade D2 steel (Prototype for Robertson Custom Cutlery) Second proto "S2" OD G10 with black liner FOS V2, 3.5" blade D2 steel... FOS in 5/32" Sandvik 19C27.... Thanks for looking...

    Arbor Press + Steel Stamp

    I just removed the ram from my arbor press and drilled a hole that my stamp would fit in into the end. Then to keep it straight I drilled tapped a hole in each flat near the bottom and screwed in 4 machine screws that clamp and straighten the stamp securely. It has worked well.
