That was partly why I changed my mind. There are plenty of parts for South Bends, but I'm not certain I would even have the expertise to put this together. I think it might be a good deal for someone familiar with these kind of lathes. But I have no experience with lathes other than a little bit...

Agreed. I would add that a drop point design is probably the easiest design to make. At least it has been for me.

Thanks for your input Bob. It does seem a bit overpriced. And also a bit lightweight for what I want to do. I would like to start doing some daggers. So as you say, for brass it might be OK. I think I'll keep looking unless he will lower his price by a goodly amount.

This is an old thread but I will say I use imgur exclusively now for uploading images to here. For my purposes it works the best.

I think for flow it looks good. One little thing I noticed though, is the upper pin in the back looks like it's partially on the side and on the top. Was that a design consideration? Or is that just the camera angle? Other than that, I think it looks great.
