    Here are some more progress pics, as I go along. RIVETS galore ..... The top and bottom are both covered and dyed, but it still looks a little streaky and spotty but that should get better when I rub it out. There is also some pics of the hardware after it's rust remover...

    T Just my 2 cents here so .... I would alternate between vac and pressure. OR if you're not set up to push pressure yet I would try pulling a vac let it sit for an hour or 2 then release and pull again. The best IMO is when you can pull / push within a short period of time. I like pressure...

    Its the countertop stuff. Its pretty tough but more brittle than some of the other synthetics. Sands and buffs well. Heres an old pic I had.

    I used potassium permanganate, and it looks purple when you mix it with water, but it turns the horn dark brown.... Probably some caution to be taken with that stuff too. -Larry
