Another Slippie, this time a bit dressier

Hey everyone, i finished this one yesterday, and i thought i'd show you some pics. I wanted to make a damascus and mammoth ivory slipjoint, but the idea seemed a bit too flashy for the classic slipjoint pattern, so i made it to look a bit used, patinated. I wanted it to have the old west...

    In da frame slipjoint

Josh, the problem was, this being my first pantograph guinea-pig, i couldn't make any inlays fit, because of a little machining error. So i took a piece of serpentine stone, crushed it, mixed with epoxide, and 'inlaid'. That's why it's reconstituted. I'll be milling some other knives tomorrow...

    In da frame slipjoint

Hey fellow knife dogs, so my pantograph guinea pig got finished today. Not precisely what i wanted to do with it, but i guess it doesn't look that bad. Let me know what you think :) Some specs: Blade: 2.5" 154CM, double hollow grind, 800grit satin finish scales: polished 416ss, recon...

Big and tactical from me? Yeah, why not :)

Thanks Murph, now that you mention it, it could look very cool, would add a bit of flare to the blade. Despite the 180 deg, you are making quite a sense :D :D :D Ondrej

Big and tactical from me? Yeah, why not :)

Hey gang, I just finished these three, ready for shipping to my customers. The first one is a prototype for a police unit in our country (something like a SWAT, but not that cool :D ) If they like it, they will need a 'few' more :) So lets keep the fingers crossed :) Carbon fiber scales and...

    Pimped out damascus integral knife

Hey everyone, This is my new knife, it could be called a showcase of all that i'm crazy enough to do: Integral, Carved, heat colored...only thing missing is for it to be an automatic (a knife like that is in my current WIP box :) ) It has damascus blade and frame (hand carved), titanium pivot...

    "W"s from Walla Walla

Mr. B., i just can't stop looking at that stag, it's really something :) And in my opinion, it goes pretty well with the blued guard. I know it's just a temporary measure to anneal it for engraving, but if you finished it in that color... Ondrej

    Traditional slipjoint......in jammies :)

Thanks guys :) I'm glad you like it Mr.B, i feel privileged to be using your damascus :) If you want some 925 pin stock, i can get it to you, it's pretty cheap. The only problem could be the metric sizing. Ondrej

    Traditional slipjoint......in jammies :)

Here they are :) The first one is from the shoot i did in the morning, the other two are from now. It's slowly getting dark, so they are not as good as they should be. Also, how do you take a pic of a centered blade, so that it actually looks centered? Ondrej

    Traditional slipjoint......in jammies :)

Thank you guys, i'm really glad you like it :) Josh, that is a great compliment, and a one sentence sum-up of what i'm trying to do with my knives. Thank you for that (if you don't mind, i might use that sometime) And for the weight, this baby weighs 60 grams ( 2.1 ounces if my converter is...

    Traditional slipjoint......in jammies :)

I mean, what does the handle remind you of ? :) To me, it looks like my GF's striped jammies :) Anyway, the blade is 2.5" of 1090 carbon steel, hollow ground, hand rubbed to 800 grit. The scales are damascus made by a very cool Mr. Bump, and then re-forged by my friend Kenda. I had the idea...
