Thanks guys, I'm planning on doing a box fan. I have been using a shop vac, but it hasn't been cutting it for me.

I am needing some sort of air filtration system, but am unsure whether a dust collector, air filter, box fan, or squirrel cage filter would be best for my shop. Will be using it to blow away micarta fumes and suck in dust at the grinder. Probably don't need it anywhere other than at the grinder...

Smart idea. What grit are your bevels and do you have problems with cracking?

On softer, lighter colored, or porous materials you are more likely to have that problem or the steel tang dust getting into it. For me, I use fresh abrasives and don't have much of a problem. I think some people use wd40 to keep the dust out?
