For me, it's been mostly word of mouth through friends and family on Facebook and Instagram. I'll occasionally bring some in to show coworkers. Posting good photos is definitely a plus. I've made sales by posting in progress work that people responded to.

Nice work. The one on the right, is that how the leather is dyed? It looks almost like a burl.

A 9” BBQ knife and a 7” filet knife.

Another Viking axe. This one I carved the handle from a 2x4” block of hickory.

I finished #200. Learned a lot during this process. Would probably change a couple things. I did the drawing for the customer giveaway and it will be off to its new owner shortly.

This will be my 200th knife. It will be my first attempt at grinding a dagger. Final piece will probably be slimmer and curvier too- more like a boot knife. I plan to make this one another customer appreciation giveaway. Steel is 3/16 W-2. Not entirely sure what handle material I’ll use yet.

I think it would be an interesting use of handle materials and making the fit and finish work would definitely be challenging.

That sounds like a really cool and challenging idea. Has anyone done it before? Would you approach it like segmented handle scales?

Just finished up a set of steak knives. AEB-L and Golden Trout G-Carta scales.

New addition to the shop. Been saving awhile for this upgrade. Have to wire it up with my existing vfd and motor and then rearrange the shop a bit. I’m also waiting on a new carbide platen. Can’t wait to fire it up and go.
