Ive been using the one from McMaster 3102A13 with 3103A13 pilot for quite some time. I opted the carbide tip for longevity, but I have heard you can get quite a bit of use out the HSS ones as well. There are many sources you can find these at, but not sure about UK. As for 3/16" or 1/8" depends...
