    Benchmade Sibert 755 MPR

I just got this one in a couple of days ago, and I have to say that it is one of the most impressive production knives that I have ever handled. It is the production version of Shane Sibert's Mini Pocket Rocket folder, and Benchmade has really hit the ball out of the park with this one. The...

    Production knife watch 2010

The production folder coming this year that I am the most excited about is the Benchmade 755 MPR. It is a small framelock based off of Shane Sibert's Mini Pocket Rocket folder, and from what I can see of the pics and from what Shane has told me, the production version is really faithful to the...

    David Mosier Spyro IKBS flipper

Here's a piece that I got not too long ago, a David Mosier Spyro IKBS framelock flipper. David is known for making solidly built knives that are meant to be used, and this piece is one of the best that I've seen from him yet. The satin finished blade is 3 3/4" long, and the OAL is 8 1/2"...

    What's your production EDC today?

I carry a Kershaw Lee Williams design black Ener-G Kickstop flipper at work. It is small and unobtrusive, it blends in well with my navy colored scrubs, and it opens easily and very fast. Plus, since it is an inexpensive production knife (about $50 street price new), I don't worry about...

    2010 2nd Generation Concept Art

Looking good, Dustin! The pocket clip with your logo on it on the Repentance is a really cool idea!

    Badge poll

I voted for option #1. I figure with how much money we spend on knives, a few extra bucks for a nicer badge isn't going to break the bank.

Ideal blade length for a bali?

Around 4" for the blade seems to be the most popular and the most commonly available. Personally, I like that length the best for flipping, but for carry, I like smaller balis (3" to 3 1/2" blade) better.

    Intergal folder

Beautiful work, Ondrej! I really like this one!

Who is your favorite bali maker?

My favorites are Charles Marlowe and Flavio Ikoma. I've owned a ton of balis before, but theirs are the only ones that I've hung onto. I've never handled Shawn Greacen's work before, but I am really impressed with pics that I've seen of it. There is also one bali I had by Deryk Munroe that I...

What's your favorite production folder and why?

My favorite production folder is the Tim Galyean Pro Series Junkyard Dawg. It has the best fit and finish and most precise construction of any production knife I've ever seen. It also has IKBS, and it has the strongest detent of any production knife that I've handled, so flipping it open without...
