    It's called American scroll. It's my own design, but I engrave a fair amount of single action revolvers in classic Colt factory "style" so I guess it reflects in my other work. That punch dot background is almost always done on the cowboy guns.

    I just finished the engraving on this folder last night. The knife is made by Billy Meekins of Thunder Ridge Knives in Bel Air, MD. This wasn't an easy space to fill with scroll. Comments welcome. Bert Edmonston Master Engraver

    Who Makes Hydraulic Presses for sale?

    A Bonny Doon clone is available through www.dakotabulldog.com with the power assist as an option. I have the Bonny Doon without the power. It's very nice! I'm using mine though in making jewelry items. It's really a great tool.
