Finally bought a Native 5... and I threw in a Yojimbo for good measure.

Bought them both from DLT (my favorite) a couple of days ago, just waiting for them to arrive. I'm also thinking about getting a Yojumbo once they come back in stock. Does anyone have one? Is it worth it? Oh, and the Native 5 is the first fully SE Spyderco I bought!

Now THAT is what we call a fightin' knife. I love the design! However, I'm going to pass because it's VG-10, which is just not in my wheelhouse for that style of blade. However, if they do a sprint in Cruwear or M390 or something, I'll be first in line for it!

I do like that blade shape! Thank you for the picture!

    My current Spyderco collection

Wouldn't you know, mere hours after posting that I want a Native, Spyderco announces that it'll be dropping a native sprint run with brown G10 and M390 steel. I can't wait!!

    My current Spyderco collection

I have indeed, and perhaps it's wrong of me to judge that littler book by it's cover, but it seems really difficult to hold. I'm big on a confident grip, and I have really big hands (I'm 6' 6"). The Delica is about as small as I can go, really

Next 2 knives on my list: Native 5, Native 5 chief... Unless the Smock comes along anytime soon. REALLY waiting for that.

    My current Spyderco collection

Here's my current collection. Clockwise from top (12 O'clock): 1. Delica 4 combination blade "murdered out" black. The only DLC blade I like for some reason. 2. Standard PM2 in S45VN 3. Fradon Lock PM2 with Elmax steel. I love the look of the carbon fiber scales, but they have little texture...

    Manix 2 S110V w/copper Flytanium scales & brass cage

I LOVE the Manix 2, and I LOVE S110V steel, so I had to get this knife. I waited and waited and finally it was back in stock at DLT so I snatched one! However, I HATE the blurple scales (nothing against G10, just the color) that it came with, so I decided to have some fun with this knife and...

    So I ordered a knife...

As soon as it gets here and I get it sorted out, I'll post pictures, but I ordered the Manix 2 blurple S110V, copper Flytanium scales, and a brass cage.

PM2 Elmax with Burlap Micarta scales

As much as I love my Fradon Lock PM2, the carbon fiber scales just weren't working for me. They are gorgeous and strong and all that, but also a little on the smooth side. I prefer my scales to have a good texture and a good grip, and I just wasn't feeling it with the marbled CF scales. So I...

    My Spyderco collection is growing!

That's a hell of an idea! I'm sure there are scales on Etsy or somewhere

LOL! Seriously though, if I do swap, should I swap the washers as well?

    My Spyderco collection is growing!

I'm considering swapping blades between my stock PM2 and my Cruwear Micarta PM2. I love the micarta handles, but I love S45VN more than Cruwear. Had anyone else done this?

    Shaman availability

Does anyone know when the Shaman will be available again? Or where I can find one for sale (new, reputable dealer)? Thank you

By the way out of all of these, my favorite EDC is the Manix 2 XL

    My Spyderco collection is growing!

We all do! It's one of the great things about Spyderco. Of even the most picky of knife enthusiasts, I've never met anyone that didn't like (or at least appreciate) Spyderco.
